Living with a disability can affect each person differently, and we understand that it can create unique barriers to daily life. At Cultivate, we use exercise physiology to help reduce those barriers, support independence, and encourage participation in activities that matter to you.
Our approach focuses on movement that is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your needs — whether your goals are to build strength, improve mobility, or simply feel more confident in your body.
We design programs that can support:
- Independence – Making everyday activities easier to manage on your own
- Confidence – Feeling empowered to try new movements and activities
- Quality of Life – Finding enjoyment in movement and daily life
Our sessions are personalised for each client and can take place one-on-one or in small groups at our Bowral clinic, or via mobile visits across the Southern Highlands, South West Sydney and Illawarra.
Our Exercise Physiologists are experienced in working with NDIS participants of all ages. We can:
- Tailor programs to your individual goals and abilities
- Communicate with your support team, including Support Coordinators, plan managers, and allied health professionals
- Help you make the most of your NDIS plan
Exercise physiology services may be funded under categories such as Improved Health and Wellbeing, Improved Daily Living, or Core Supports. If you’re unsure, your Support Coordinator can assist you in checking your plan.
We also provide exercise physiology for children living with disability. This can help with:
- Reaching developmental milestones
- Building coordination, balance, and strength
- Increasing confidence to participate in school and recreational activities
We believe movement should be inclusive, supportive, and adapted to you. Our team works alongside you and your support network to create programs that fit your life, build on your strengths, and encourage sustainable progress.
Whether in our Bowral clinic or at your home in the Southern Highlands, South West Sydney or Illawarra regions, we’re here to make movement more accessible.
